INCENTIVES/REBATES AVAILABLE
Lodging customers in PG&E’s service territory are eligible to receive rebates and incentives to subsidize project costs. Our commitment is to identify the highest rebates and/or incentives to make your energy-reduction project as cost effective as possible.
Retrofit Measures Available
LIGHTING
Comprehensive lighting retrofits for guest rooms, common areas and exteriors. Rebates typically cover 60%–80% of installed costs.
RETROCOMMISSIONING
Retrocommissioning (RCx) is a systematic, documented process that identifies low-cost operational and maintenance improvements in existing buildings and brings the buildings up to the design intentions of its current usage.
RCx focuses on energy-using equipment such as mechanical equipment, lighting and related controls and usually optimizes existing system performance, rather than relying on major equipment replacement, typically resulting in improved indoor air quality, comfort, controls, energy and resource efficiency.
GUEST ROOM ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Intelligent control of existing in-room Package Terminal Air Conditioner or Package Terminal Heat Pump systems using occupancy sensors and smart thermostats with dynamic setback capability to reduce runtimes. The rebate for this measure covers 100% of installed costs.
OTHER EQUIPMENT
Motors, variable speed drives, compressed air systems, EMS controls, process load, and vending misers.
NATURAL GAS SAVING MEASURES
A variety of gases saving retrofit measures are available for lodging through LodgingSavers and Ozone Laundry Solutions.
